Dr. Melissa Rivera owns and operates Vet 2 Home, a mobile veterinary practice dedicated to reducing the fear, anxiety, and stress pets feel when visiting a traditional vet's office. She is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about making quality veterinary care accessible to both well-to-do and budget-conscious pet owners, which is why the practice offers a wide variety of payment options. Dr. Rivera views veterinary medicine as a collaborative partnership with pet owners rather than a one-way directive, talks with clients instead of at them, and doesn't take herself too seriously. She holds memberships with the AVMA, FVMA, and AAHA, and has an interest in internal medicine.
